Willem's WOD

On Saturday 25th May, the CrossFit Amsterdam Community along with friends and family came together to celebrate the life of a an extremely special person.

Big Willem was an integral part of the CrossFit Amsterdam community, as well as many other communities throughout the Netherlands.  In celebration of the impact he had on all of our lives we completed the Willem Memorial WOD.  

This WOD is long, it is heavy and it is super tough - Just like he was. Every single person who stepped foot into the box that day (and many other boxes around the Netherlands) knew that he would have loved doing this workout. This workout means so much to so many, because Big Willem meant so much to so many.

The team at CrossFit Amsterdam would like to thank everyone who showed up and completed the WOD and kept the memory of this wonderful human alive.

Buy in: 500 m. Row

then perform 4 rounds of:
14 Deadlifts 100/80 kg
11 Power Cleans 80/60 kg
19 Push Jerks 60/45 kg
87 Double Unders

Buy out: 1600 m Run
